Francesca Cindy Lee
LRSM, DipABRSM

Founder of Ministerium Fur Musik & Steinway Teacher Partner

Francesca Cindy Lee is a distinguished piano pedagogue and the founder of Ministerium Fur Musik. She offers a rare blend of high-level technical expertise and a nurturing, student-centric philosophy. Her music journey began with her piano teachers from Japan and Hongkong and was an avid young school choir pianist at 10 years old, a foundation that eventually led her to earn the DipABRSM and the prestigious Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music (LRSM) under the tutelage of Professor Boris Kraljevic.

As a conferred Steinway Teacher & Educational Partner (STEP), Cindy’s dedication to quality is recognized by Steinway & Sons, the world’s most renowned piano manufacturer. For parents, this partnership translates into unparalleled opportunities: her students gain exclusive access to Steinway Artist Masterclasses, professional performance spaces, and the chance to perform on world-class instruments.

With over 10 years of teaching experience, Cindy understands that every child’s path is unique. While she has successfully started students as young as three years old, her focus remains on building more than just technical skill. She believes that consistency, resilience, and the right attitude toward challenges are life skills that music is uniquely positioned to teach.

Harvard Chia | LTCL Violin
Violin, Viola, Piano Teacher

Harvard Chia is an accomplished violinist and dedicated music educator who holds a Licentiate of Trinity College London (LTCL) Performance Diploma with High Distinction, ABRSM Grade 8 Performance Violin with Distinction, and ABRSM Grade 8 Performance Viola with high Distinction. Admitted to ACS (Independent) as a Direct School Admission (DSA) Scholar to the Music Elective Programme (MEP), a prestigious programme for exceptional young musicians, his advanced training includes extensive study with Ms. Lynette Lim, one of the foremost violin pedagogues in Singapore, and Mr. Michael Loh, Associate Principal Second Violin of the Singapore Symphony Orchestra.

His teaching philosophy centers on building comprehensive technical foundations while nurturing musical expression, specialising in performance improvement and public performance preparation for students from beginner to advanced levels. Familiar with both ABRSM and Trinity College London requirements, Harvard emphasises critical listening skills—enabling students to evaluate their own intonation, rhythm, tone quality, and phrasing—while combining meticulous attention to both right-hand and left-hand technique with a focus on transforming technically accurate playing into emotionally resonant performances.

Harvard's leadership experience has directly shaped his teaching approach. His roles as Concertmaster of the ACS (Independent) IB Philharmonic Orchestra and Section Leader for both the Violin 2 and Viola sections strengthened his ability to break down complex musical concepts and provide targeted technical guidance. As President of the ACS (Independent) Secondary Philharmonic Orchestra (2022-2023) and the ACS (Independent) IB Philharmonic Orchestra (2024-2025), he developed essential mentoring and communication skills, with particular focus on providing mentoring for all members who seek it.

His extensive performance background includes the Singapore Youth Festival 2016, 2018, 2021, 2023, and 2025—earning Distinction in all five editions—as well as TRCC 2011, Steinway's Mothers' Day Concert 2012, Fortinet Charity Concert 2013, Medan International Piano Competition 2015, and the 7th Performer's Festival 2018. Harvard also achieved ABRSM Grade 8 Piano with Merit, reflecting his broad musical foundation that enables him to guide students holistically.
